PHOTOGRAPHY

The photos to the left were taken for research before creating an animation (screenshots above) for an art project. I set a Canon EOS 70D to shoot at a long exposure. The photos were used as reference to show how real light moves so that I could recreate a realistic appearance in the animation. The full animation is included at the end of my showreel.

I particularly like to take photographs when I see scenes with high contrast of light and colour or interesting shadows cast.

The photos below and to the right were taken with a Canon EOS 70D set to long exposure so that I could capture the path of real human movement.
